In GUTCP, all forms of matter and energy are modeled using the orbitsphere construct. An orbitsphere is a two dimensional sphere with three-dimensional extent, similar to a tiny superconducting basketball with an infinitely thin skin.

The surface of the orbitsphere consists of moving charge, or current, composed into an infinite number of great circle current loops, arranged in a specific pattern described herein. Due to the nature of particle production, the surface represents a discontinuity in spacetime and therefore has zero thickness and may be properly modeled using the Dirac delta function, $ \delta(r-r_n) $.
